Established in 1999, Matherne Instrumentation is a global, one-source solution for all your oilfield instrumentation and custom machining in the oil and gas industry.
Rotary torque system is designed to help the driller during coring, milling, and reaming operations. The system also helps to avoid twist-offs and increases bit life by showing the driller when the drill string is torqued to unsafe levels.
The system includes indicator with bracket, 2 ft. and 14 ft. hoses with disconnects, and idler with wheel. The indicator’s capacities are measured in points and are a relative indication of torque. The system is available in box mount or panel mount styles.

Universal tong line pull system is designed to assure uniform and proper make-up of the string by indicating accurate torque applied to each joint when running pipe or casing. Our tong torque gauges can help reduce drill collar and tool joint failure resulting from improper make-up.
The system includes a 6” tong torque indicator with bracket, a standard 25 ft. hose, and a tension load cell. The convenient mounting design allows the gauge to be mounted in a driller’s console, in a weight indicator box, or stand alone.
